Arnol Federman
Arnol Federman is well known in Zal as a purveyor of all kinds of chemicals, including pharmaceuticals, poisons, and explosives. He runs a business called Firebrand Chemicals, but the shop does not have a public store for people to visit. Instead, Federman meets with potential clients at other locations, such as a bar or inn, where he discusses their needs and takes their order (if he decides he's willing to do business with them). Then, he and his employees prepare the order at the Firebrand Chemicals warehouse. When the order is ready, Federman delivers it to the client at a prearranged location.
Although he's known for drinking a little too heavily, Federman has a solid reputation in Zal as being dependable and always fulfilling orders fairly and in a timely manner. Much of what he provides is technically illegal, but it's clear he has some sort of arrangement with either the Amul Family or Hamis Amul in particular, as the authorities have always turned a blind eye to his activities. People who cross him have a way of disappearing--probably another facet of his arrangement with the Amuls.
