Two-Weapon Fighting
The character can fight with a weapon wielded in each hand. The character can make one extra attack each round with the secondary weapon.
Prerequisite: Dexterity 13.
Benefit: The penalties on attack rolls for fighting with two weapons are reduced. The penalty for a character’s primary hand lessens by 2 and the one for the character’s off hand lessens by 6.
The weapons used must both be mêlée weapons or both be ranged weapons (the character can’t mix the types).
Normal: If a character wields a second weapon in her off hand, she can get one extra attack per round with that weapon. When fighting in this way, the character suffers a -6 penalty with her regular attack or attacks with her primary hand and a -10 penalty to the attack with her off hand. If the character’s off-hand weapon is light, the penalties are reduced by 2 each. An unarmed strike is always considered light.
