Pitohui

The most secretive of the toxicasters, these avian sentients seclude themselves to only one island. They train heavily in the art of stealth, and are experts at navigating their dense rainforest environment. Their homes are high up in the trees and camoflagued. They are in almost every way different to their flamboyant northern neighbors, save for that their appearance can be confused for some of them.
The Pitohui are fairly average avian sentients, 5-6 feet tall and having two arms, two legs, and two wings sprouting from their back. The same holds true of their faces, covered in feathers like the rest of their body and having a beak rather than a lipped mouth. Their coloration is primarily black and orange, although enough variation exists that makes it skew more red or brown.
