Berserians

Berserians are born when one of humanoid daemons of Rage mates with a mortal, in most cases human. This quite often takes a form of a simple rape, or, which is slightly rarer, a more... consensual encounter. Which happens mostly when a mortal manages to defeat a Rage daemon of opposite sex, which makes them surprisingly submissive. They admire strength, after all, and mortal singlehandedly defeating such a creature (without strange tactics and so on, it will only accept pure strenght, either physical or magical) almost always is an indicator of an extraordinary person.
Berserians are thus rather rare, and in most cases have rather... interesting human parents - even in case of rape, since daemons of Rage rarely lower themselves to simply raping average people. They rape those that prove their worth, just not managed to be the one on top, in most cases not really aware of how wrong it is for those that are raped (after all the strong dominating the weak is simply something normal in the Fields of Blood).
Due to more or less rarity of substantial Rage forces incursions, the Berserians aren't exactly widespread. They are sometimes encountered, in most cases as soldiers and so on, as that is the trade that they are simply naturally profficient in. They are also counted among species welcomed in Imperial Army vanguard formations, due to their physical might.
As most halfdaemons they mostly interbreed with normal species, quickly losing their uniqueness and instead improving strength of their descendants for many generations. Thus they are next to no berserians that were born from two berserians rather.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Berserians are, on their most basic level, simply humans. Naturally tall and strong. Their daemonic ancestry is mostly seen when they are driven into the corner, as when angry (or just when have a lot of adrenaline in blood) their already notable power grows. They aren't above ability of normal humans, however are very much near it... and collectively as a specie.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Berserians suffer from typical problems of species with increased muscle output - they have to consume more calories per day, especially when they earn they pay by doing things that require them using their strength. Meaning a lot of meat and other high calorie meals are a must.
