Steel Celestials

A Celestials subspecies, born from the union between a Steel Angel (an angel that defected from Shimmer to Hammer and a mortal. In most cases human, since their most malleable DNA makes mortal/steel angel pairs produce steel celestials with greatest probability.
It is at least slightly more often than white celestials, but are still one of the rarest celestials. It is unlikely for more than 4-5 of them existing in the world at once.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Typical humanoids with two hands, two legs and a head. Tend to be quite tall and, as most celestials, rather beautiful. What is unique to them is their skin, surprisingly tough and with slight metallic tint (but still organic).

Biological Traits

Their halo manifests as an iron circle floating above their head, serving as a source of power to their spells.
It can be used to channel magical power through ones' skin or armour, making them temporarily much stronger. There are also - as in case of all celestial halos - other options, manifesting in the form of unique spells available to them when manifesting their halos (the one mentioned earlier is common, however).

Eye and hair color seems to depend mostly on their mundane parents and pretty much every existing combination is possible.
