Elma Rumeskar
Elma Rumeskar is the proprietress of The Humble Farmer, which has been in her family for generations.
Her great-great-great grandmother established The Sickle & Sword after the signing of the Hammstoke Accord in 647 AC. She was asked--"threatened," if you ask her--to change the name of the tavern to The Humble Farmer by Elder Grenfik.
Her mother was overly fond of elves, undertaking a brief dalliance with an elvish ranger that resulted in Elma's birth. She is the first, and perhaps last, half-elf in her family.
She was married once, to a local farmer named Whit Foren. He died, though, carried off in the Plagues of 943 AC, like most of the town. She is unsure of why she survived.
Locals describe her as "stalwart."
