Lyceum

In the Alerki Ascendency, a Lyceum is a jail or a prison. Individuals found in violation of Ascendancy laws are kept here, awaiting "re-education." 
Some of the Lyceums throughout the Ascendency are temporary housing facilities, with their charges being released either on their own recognizance or into the custody of the Rectifiers, while others are more permanent facilities designed to incarcerate "threats to the peace and harmony of the Ascendancy."
