Sanska
Sanska (SAHN - skah), of Dance and Absurdity, was a mortal tortle who, some thousands of years ago, established a path to godhood through a system of sacred body movements and oneness with their surroundings. Sanska is said to have achieved total enlightenment in an absurd moment of distraction, after 40 days and nights of dance, when a massive flock of seagulls rained a deluge of defecation upon them and a sudden volcanic eruption launched a flaming pebble into the laughing tortle’s mouth, choking and killing them.
Adherents of Sanska believe that through emulating these movements and embracing surprise and absurdity, that they too may achieve oneness and become a part of Sanska (referred to sometimes as The Sanska, the collective of all enlightened adherents) in their Fourth Wandering.
Sanska is typically depicted as an ancient grinning tortle, and is considered something of a trickster, relishing in the unexpected. Adherents often refer to absurd circumstances and bizarre coincidences as "Sanska’s touch." Avatars of The Sanska are believed to abound, mischievously guiding others to enlightenment.
