STATIC 3: No Bad Vibes
General Summary
Wherein our heroes discover the importance of good vibes and seep into a goo-sun cube
Tridge, having as close to a religious epiphany as possible, decided to just get real into the vibes and headed to check out some dancing kobolds (or, as they prefer, glowbolds). She met Mollywollop, clearly the leader of this pack of partybolds and exchanged gifts in the form of Altered substances. While it was nice to commune with a fellow aficionado of the Altered state, conversation wasn't very fruitful as all Tridge was able to glean was that The Glow had been here "at least a day." Hypatia, ever the scientist, decided that the best way to get answers would be from Zaphal herself. She moved to do just that, but was blocked by Phantar, the ghost-minotaur bouncer. He made it known that the Queen doesn't like to be disturbed and answered a few more questions from Hypatia, also stating that he had been working here "a day." Clearly time works differently on this plane, if it works at all. Nero Rubicant and Corinna Himmelswander, a little overwhelmed by their sudden appearance in a plane far from their own, decided to seek out fortifying drink. Luckily, Neon, The Glow bartender, was happy to serve them up a couple of Rainbowblast Gulps and answer a few questions. The "day" thing came up again, of course. Asking about the exact location of where The Glow was not helpful, as Neon seemed confused by the question. The Glow has always been here, and is the entirety of the world. The Glow is the alpha and the omega, so to speak. That might make finding a way back to their own plane of existence difficult! Our heroes decided that the best way to find answers might be to try and leave this place. Tridge made her way across the dance floor to the interdimensional revolving portal that she spotted earlier only to have the entirety of The Glow "glitch out". Each of The Glow's citizens seemed frozen in time and the very foundation upon which The Glow resides seem to flicker dangerously, as it could be erased from existence. That's not good! And it appears that Zaphal was aware of this danger, as she sought audience with our heroes from another plane. Noticing they seemed unaffected by the glitch, she asked their assistance in solving it. It appears that The Glow operates on positive vibes--that is the energy that sustains it--and works in a symbiotic relationship with the Vibecube, which operates as a kind of "sun" for this plane. Lately, that relationship hasn't been as productive and Zaphal would like our explorers to venture through the interdimensional revolving portal and into the Vibecube to investigate. Having nothing else to do, and perhaps even a worse time getting back to New Carydam if The Glow disappears, they agreed. Each of them were launched from the revolving portal toward the Vibecube. Some of the landings were more graceful than others, but all began to seep slowly into the cube's gooey exterior and towards the unknown.
Glowing
Having acquiesced to the demand of DJ Ravedaddy, who is apparently responsible for all the pulsating music bouncing around The Glow, to dance, our brave heroes found themselves with the opportunity to take a breath and come to grips with their current situation, which is this:- they've been Displaced
- they've been Displaced to a kind of dance club plane of existence?
- this is fuckin' weird

Into the Vibecube
The Vibecube seems to be a less hospitable place than The Glow. After finishing their seeping journey down into the cube itself, our adventurers found themselves in an environment very much like a fortress or citadel, but covered in a gelatinous substance. Further exploration revealed why that might be the case, as they encountered a cube within a cube, this one with a helpful skeleton amiable enough to fill in some details about this strange cube. Kini, the helpful skeleton, told them that this place, now in ruins, was once the stronghold of Einbruk the Anguished. Then, something happened to it, and now it is this cube. He was, by his own admission, a little hazy on all those details. Venturing further led our intrepid crew to encounter some nasty velociraptors, apparently laying in wait for them. These were dispatched. Then they came across some boisterous "chuglins" going absolutely ham on some fermented fish liquor. Tridge, perhaps once again among her people, did an excellent kegstand to win their favor. Nice! Potential fight avoided! More details arrived as our heroes encountered Godlicker, who is a "vibe accountant," because that's a thing. Some investigative work yielded the following: Godlicker's employer is not the cube itself, but something within the cube. No, he will not elaborate. But he also won't interfere with any attempts to pursue this mystery further. He even helpfully pointed them to the key to the locked door to the staircase leading deeper into the cube. Unfortunately, the retrieval of that key resulted in a battle with some disgruntled "crunks." Our adventurers persevered over these foes, but all this combat is definitely leaving a mark. Key in hand, it was time to get deeper into the Vibecube. And That's Where We Left It
