Sarenrae

Known to her faithful as the Dawnflower, the Healing Flame, and the Everlight, Sarenrae is a goddess who teaches temperance and patience in all things. Compassion and peace are her greatest virtues, and if enemies of the faith can be redeemed, they should be. Sarenrae is worshipped in the Empire of Aquilon and her faith is centered on the island of Montevideo. She is a goddess of sun and life similar to Pelor, but her tradition focuses more on working for justice and reforming evil. As a goddess of life, she has a particular distaste for the undead. Sarenrae's edicts:

Justice for both the weak and the mighty.
Ending evil through compassion and forgiveness.
Be a light against the darkness.

The church of Sarenrae is mostly composed of altruistic priests who are also ready to be stern should it be warranted. The church is known for blessing crops, healing the sick, and reforming criminals and evil doers. They are often consulted to solve feuds and disputes among neighbors and families. The most famous of her followers was St. Ellena of Montevideo, who uncovered an evil plot by the Lord Arcane of Aquilon in 1890, destroyed an army of the dead raised by a necromancer, and stopped a rampaging monster from attacking Taurino before eventually ascending to be with her goddess.
