The Red Hierophant

The Red Hierophant is the Adastrican God of Magic, Secrets, and Time. Sometimes called the Whisperer, many of the ruins of old Adastrica bear the Hierophant's likeness and even today they are still revered by scholars and wizards. They are depicted as a figure in Red Robes, sometimes male and sometimes female, and sometimes wearing a golden mask. They almost always carry an ornate golden staff or rod, and sometimes an hourglass besides.
The edicts of the Red Hierophant are:

• Learn all that can be learned, know all that is knowable.
• Nothing is inexplicable, merely unexplained.
• Knowledge is strength and secrets are power.
• All that is visible must grown beyond itself, and extend into the realm of the invisible.

Although there is no organized priesthood dedicated solely to the Red Hierophant, they are revered by the Selicari Priests who maintain knowledge of the deity's rites. Wizards and Scholars sometimes consult with the Selicari or build shrines of their own to the Red Hierophant within their abodes or libraries.
Some believe that the Hierophant watches over the Akashic Record.
