Bahamut
The Platinum Dragon
Called the Platinum Dragon, Bahamut is the lawful good god of justice, protection, nobility, and honor. Lawful good paladins often revere him, and metallic dragons worship him as the first of their kind. Monarchs are crowned in his name.
The hope domain doesn't exist for those who merely wish for something to come to pass; it stands for those who express an optimistic faith in the future. As such, Bahamut and Pelor share reign over the domain. Pelor shines the light of hope into all hearts that accept his benevolent message. His followers express hope not just for a kinder future but for good harvests from their just labors. Pelor's hope is the faith that the sun will rise, that winter will end, and that compassion will flourish. Bahamut claims hope among his domains in a different form than Pelor. The Platinum Dragon's followers rely on the ideals of justice and honor as shields against the darkness that can claim souls. Their hope is that righteous action can prevent a drastic fall. Bahamut places faith not in the external world, but in the spirit of the individual.
Bahamut sees justice as the tool of good intentions. Laws and honor exist to protect those who cannot protect themselves and to prevent those who wield power from taking the path of evil.
Bahamut and Moradin share the domain of protection in a spirit of solidarity. Moradin emphasizes guardianship of home. family, and clan, while Bahamut takes a wider view of protecting society and good people wherever evil finds them. When danger comes, the followers of Moradin draw back to stand on solid ground, and Bahamut's faithful come forward to strike down threats.
Divine Domains
Bahamut's domains are Justice, Life, Order, War, & the Patron of Dragonborn.
Tenets of Faith
Bahamut's dogma is based on justice, nobility, protection, and honor. He teaches his followers to always uphold the highest ideals of honor and justice; to be constantly vigilant against evil and to oppose it from all fronts; and to protect the weak, liberate the oppressed, and defend just order. Bahamut advocates a "greater justice" that includes fighting against evil and toppling oppressive regimes. He also likes to reward strength of purpose and character in his followers.
Defend the weak and downtrodden against unjust attackers and those who take pleasure in harming the defenseless. Value life above all. Pride is necessary for any creature to be magnanimous; One has to believe in standards for themselves, and strive to surpass them, before standards can be applied to others.
Commandments of the Platinum Dragon

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
In his natural form, Bahamut is a massive dragon (approx 180 feet long) with a tail the same length as his body, with platinum scales that glow with a faint blue sheen. Bahamut's catlike eyes are deep blue, as azure as a midsummer sky, some say. Others insist that Bahamut's eyes are a frosty indigo, like the heart of a glacier. Perhaps the colors merely reflect the Platinum Dragon's shifting mood.
When he wished to wander the mortal world, he usually takes the appearance of an old human or demihuman dressed in peasant robes accompanied by seven canaries. Some sages believe Bahamut uses this humanoid guise to not frighten non-dragon beings. They also believe that while Bahamut is fond of his old man guise, he has other guises as well. Other recorded guises included that of a prince with a carriage drawn by seven horses, an urchin accompanied by seven friends, and a beggar followed by seven dogs.
