Leader of the Town Guard, captain of the militia, and chief constable, Soranna is a tall, strong-boned woman with simple
good looks hidden behind an unsmiling manner. As leader of the town’s guardsmen, Soranna holds a seat on the council, but she strictly interprets her role in running the town’s affairs and follows the Elder's lead unquestioningly. A former merchants’ guard captain who traveled widely before settling in Miaudow, she has a good idea of the sort of trouble the town is in for, and she is worried sick.
