Clan Horn

Clan Horn was a dwarven clan whose realm was Ironstar Mountain, Northlook and Wyrmtongue mountain in the north western part of the Varenia Province in Valian Domain of Tranol, also known as the Free Marches. After abandonment of their realm, Horn dwarves could still be found in the capital Talgard, as well as Bar-Lored and some even rumored to move to the Whispering Steppes. They were alleged to have changed their identities to conceal their status as members of the clan. The dwarves constructed maces from their secret darksteel alloy called Ironstar maces. These were priced among mage killers. The Horn realm was overwhelmed by orc invaders, and the clan fled south led by Thane Daurvos Frostbeard. Pursued by trolls and orcs, Frostbeard was slain at the Stone Bridge where Moradin appeared and drove the orcs back.
