Fey
Colorful Creatures:
A distinctive flitting buzzes from tree to tree, the conspicuous giggles filling the air around you as your legs are yanked from beneath you and you hang upside down as sparkling dust follows in the wake of colorful streaks like the glittering tails of a rainbow of shooting stars surrounds you. The Fey Folk can come in a wide range of colors but shade of green, blue, red, and bright gold are the most common.
Small Folk in a Big World:
Fey Folk experience the world from a completely different, much smaller, perspective. Everything is big to them and that makes the world all the more alluring… and terrifying. Some of them are excessively brave for such tiny creatures and will leave the safety of their home to seek out adventure. They quickly discover the wonders of the other races, the delicious foods, drinks, and wide variety of people only serve to encourage them to create bonds and make every moment count, striving to live life to the fullest.
Close Friendships:
Fey Folk easily develop strong friendships with those they encounter and they long for close connection with others. For most of the Fey this manifests in the form of tightly-knit communities of various Fey Folk who share a forest home. However, for those who venture beyond the comfort of their forests, this means that they are prone to latching on to the first kind hearted people they meet. As much as they would like to forge deep bonds with all creatures, Fey adventurers must quickly learn to suppress the need to form these bonds with everyone, lest it lead them to more trouble then they can handle.
Fey Folk Names:
Commonly named after plants or shiny objects, Fey Folk choose their own name when they reach the age of maturity, but their surname typically is that of their forest home.
