Jassel is heading the expedition of the ancient ruins discovered in Vline. Being the expert in forgotten lore from the Magis Enclave College, he has been a whirlwind of fury and excitement. For an elder gnome he has the energy of 100 year younger gnome, barely sleeping and consuming unhealthy amounts of coffee. He believes he is on a verge of a break through that will change our ideas about the past. Elder Norma from the town of Vline has taken it upon herself to keep him in line. She seems the only one in the town he will listen too after several moments arguing.
