Eres Aitor

On the once-godless Material Plane, one Adzja’tar became pure of thought and body and achieved Apotheosis. His name was Eres Aitor, the Divine Spark. He led his people to philosophical, technological, and magical advances the likes of which the world had never seen, and has yet to see since the Great Calamity. He created the funnel known as the Izarra, the Soul Bridge, that would connect each person to an afterlife of their own design - a place of cleansing and rebirth, where upon exiting the Outer Bridge their souls would be reborn onto the material plane. He called this realm the Lethe. It was the first afterlife the Adzja'tar knew. He advised his people for tens of thousands of years and was regarded as a benevolent god.   Nu, bound by its Hutsunea, its Great Undoing, waited patiently in its astral prison. In time, Kenos of the Dur’akai betrayed his siblings and opened the lock in an act known as the Downward Spiral. Nu feasted upon the worlds, unmaking many of the original planets. When Nu came to Genessi, the Dur’akai rose to defeat it. Without the combined forces of the Akai on their side, they were swiftly defeated. Nu began to unmake Genessi, destroying much of the world. As the world was unmade, the Akai were reborn, lending aid to the Dur’akai. In their victory, Nu was once more imprisoned. Eres Aitor retreated into the Astral Sea, channeling all of his energy to recreate what once was within the Dreaming Shroud - Genessi was reborn, but Eres Aitor’s soul was lost to the Astral Sea. Upon realizing this, Leiana and Haiekke sang a song reaching out to his soul, combining their voices to pull him free. It is said that Eres Aitor was then reborn into a new body, born of both Akai and Dur’akai.   His fate, lost to time.
