The Festival of Lights (26 Cyndr)
Practiced in all major cities of the Greensea, the Festival of Lights consists of many plays representing key events of Genessi’s past, delicious food, brilliant light-puppet shows and illusions, and paper lanterns being launched over the harbors. The paper lanterns are left to float in the skies over the Greensea. This tradition originated long ago, when history was passed down through dance and stories. The lanterns are lit late into the night to give patronage to Iyoten and Barquinos, the gods of knowledge.
