Ra'avos

Ra’avos - The Buried God   Known to the snowshorne as Fenric, Ra’avos is typically shown as a dwarf wearing burgundy armor that shines with ethereal light. Many metalworkers and forgemasters craft their grandest equipment in his name. He is a neutral god, preferring to stay away from worldly affairs, only appearing when his people are facing great calamity. Also known as the God of the Forge, the Light of Dark, and The Dwarf. The dwarves worship only Ra’avos but respect the other gods. After his disappearance centuries ago, some dwarves refer to him as The Buried God.

Smith’s Rest (26 Afton)

This holy day is in reverence to Ra’avos’s sacrifice. When Mount Cragaine erupted at the end of the Era of Beginning, Ra’avos used all of his power to seal the mountain homes and prevent the end of both the dwarves and the garuda within the region. In doing so, he lost his godhood and was buried deep beneath the earth. Years later he was found and freed, but his godhood remained absent. Smith’s Rest is practiced mostly by dwarves, however, other crafters of all species take the day to rest and remember the sacrifice of Ra’avos.
