Religious

Though religion is less organized after the apocalypse, it’s no less popular. Characters with religious backgrounds may be members of surviving sects, or may be part of a new cult that worships bombs, mutations, or some charismatic leader. They are often sources of both inspiration and information, filling a role similar to that of academics.   Despite the rigors of the post-apocalyptic world, a character must be 23 years old to qualify for the religious occupation—younger characters simply haven’t had time to develop both a firm understanding of their religion and the authoritative demeanor to inspire followers.   Prerequisite: Age 23+.   Skills: Choose three of the following skills as permanent class skills. If a skill you select is already a class skill, you receive a +1 competence bonus on checks using that skill.  
  • Decipher Script
  • Knowledge (arcane lore, art, behavioral sciences. history, streetwise, or theology and philosophy)
  • Listen
  • Sense Motive
