Aemi Nishimoto
Nishimoto Aemi is a Japanese-born alumnus of Teyvat Academy. She is the wife of the previous head of the middle-class Kaedehara family, Kaedehara Hisamichi, and the daughter of the noble Nishimoto family. She is the mother of Kaedehara Kazuki and the grandmother of Kaedehara Kanae and the J-Pop idol, Kaedehara Kazuha.

Education at Teyvat Academy
While at Teyvat Academy, Aemi was in the Inazuma Dorm. She met her future husband, Kaedehara Hisamichi, while she was studying there, and they started dating when they were fourteen, only a few years after they started their studies and met. She was in the same class as Kamisato Takehide, Sakai Kahori, Kaedehara Hisamichi, Kujou Shohei, and Yukimura Kuri. She was best friends with Kujou Shohei and Yukimura Kuri from her first year onwards. During her third year of studies, Kamisato Takehide was assimilated into the group as Kuri's closest friend and Sakai Kahori followed after him. Because of Kuri, Aemi became good friends with Takehide as well, but she was never particularly close with Kahori - who appeared to like no one but Takehide.Marriage
Aemi graduated from Teyvat Academy in 1987, alongside her friends. Not long afterwards, she married Hisamichi, and their eldest son, Kazuki, was born in March, 1989.Fall of the Yukimura Family
Aemi was shocked to learn of the birth of Kuri's illegitimate daughter, Saori, in April 1989 - only a month after her own son's birth. Her surprise was largely for two reasons; for one, she wasn't even aware that Kuri had been pregnant either - having not seen Kuri for the nine months Aemi had been pregnant with Kazuki, and for another, she was under the impression that Kuri's marriage with Kujou Shohei was a happy one. Despite the risk to their own reputations, both Aemi and Hisamichi chose to support Kuri and the Yukimuras during their month of scandal and ruin - particularly with their numbers dwindling due to monster attacks. When May 1989 came around and the last of Kuri's family members died, including Kamisato Aisa amd Kujou Shohei, Aemi and Hisamichi were among the many Japanese nobles who retracted their support of the Yukimura family - out of fear that the cursed misfortune of Kuri's daughter would affect their own families. However, Aemi continued to be worried for her school friend long afterwards, and was saddened by news of Kuri's death in 2013. She and Hisamichi even visited Takehide regularly during the month he spent grieving, wanting to keep him company as people who were feeling the same sorrow as him.During Roleplay
