Abbreviated Common Age Notation
Abbreviated Common Age notation (ACAN) is a style of abbreviating years, decades, centuries, or millennia within an era of the Common Age.
The most common usage of ACAN is in showing a specific year, where the era will be given as a number followed by a capital "E" directly before the year, such as in 3E234 (two-hundred thirty-four of the third era).
To show a specific decade in ACAN the year notation is modified to the the first year of the decade followed directly by a lowercase "S", such as in 3E230s (the fourth decade of the third century of the third era).
To show a specific century in ACAN the era will be given as in the other cases, and the century will be given as a number followed by a capital "C", such as in 3E3C (the third century of the third era).
