Dischitic

The Dischitic languages make up a major branch of the Serrenic language family. Some defining features of the Dischitic languages are a system of vowel harmony between front and back vowels, the merger of the emphatic consonants of proto-Serrenic into the tenuis consonants, and lenition of word initial /s-/ to /h-/, rendering the definite article "ha".
