Nordic, often referred to by humans simply as Orcish, is an orsid language native to the areas south of the White Crest, but following the first and second Iteylms, it forms a Sprachbund with Sayedic north of the White Crest, and the two languages are converging.
– Орчуъул Граўм (/ˈorʧuʔul/ /ˈgrɑʔʊm/) The language of the orcs, it is rough, aggressive, and simple. Its grammar is simplistic and vocabulary small, and the orcs do not use proper writing, instead using simple pictographic proto-writing to express simple ideas that need to be written. The Dvekmenus devised a writing system for Orcish based on their own alphabet during the first Iteylm out of necessity, but it is almost entirely unused by orcs themselves.
