Dragons
Dragons have existed throughout Gesseri before the dawn of the first inhabitants, but since the Veil upon the world almost none have been seen. Within Sirva there are or rather were 3 known dragons that reside within the country. Of those 3 known, there was one ancient Gold dragon, an adult Silver dragon, and a very talkative Brass dragon of unknown age.
The gold dragon was known to have held a position within the La Valin hierarchy, but few knew who. The rumors were they held theform of a human or elf, but their true self was always kept secret. Once the rumors spread for years it was to be the Lord of the lands, as his reign had lasted for nearly 200 years, but upon his death during a raid on his caravan for a peace conference, those rumors laid to rest.
Nearly all have heard of the brass dragon Ivnetha, the wandering dragon. As he traveled from land to land, he was often found within or near taverns talking up a storm. His power exceeded nearly all he spoke with but his love of collecting stories always encapsulated the conversation. It's often said he took the form of the last person he palavered with although there would be notable differences in appearance. One form he favored was of the first leader of the Watchful Eye, an ancient aasimar having long since died. In his possession was always the helm of communication and a ring of comprehension. If you ever meet him, asking about where he came from last would always bring good tidings and a round of drinks.
Where the gold dragon was well known, and the brass having been well traveled before the Veil, the silver remained relatively hidden except in stories of adventurers. Kazultaz is known through the long history of Gesseri as a helper of the people. Numerous counts of a lone man or woman walking into a village helping those in need were often attributed to Kazultaz. Showing themselves to be an extremely capable individual course correcting many conflicts. One such tale speaks of Kazultaz defending a village from a hoard of dire trolls having transformed into his natural form mid-combat. One unique piece of lore that marks Kazultaz as more of a legend as opposed to historical is how older stories speak of a much more powerful dragon with the same name. Some wonder if the stories were exaggerated or if the dragon's name is a title passed between silver dragons, but as Kazultaz rarely engaged in conversation it forever remained a mystery.
Although these are the known dragons of Sirva, there are whispers of others, less powerful or much more well hidden, that travel word of mouth. When the Veil fell, many wondered if there were no longer any dragons, and the lack of such creatures were signs of the eventual end.
