Ionac (ahy-uhn-ak)

Similar to Sirva , Ionac holds a special place within the world as the most diverse country in the world.  As the country is a large collection of city/states who all hold their own leadership, but all formed under the same bracket of control. Within the center of all the city states is a capital like city where each of the ambassadors of the city state convene 2 to 3 times a year to settle on different issues within the country.  Although each city state has their own rules and even cultures, there is an agreement that such locations are free to travel among the residents of Ionac.  With this free travel also formed a free trade that has directly connected to the advancement of civilization throughout the continent. 

Ionac is one of the newest countries on Gesseri, that many do not respect their claims to the land, or the cultures that hold claims to the continent.  As it has less than 50 years of history before the Veil, its been disregarded from many countries for its idealized formation of races.  At first only Sirva was willing to trade with any merchant of Ionac, until a few years before the Veil when Andrasta finally began trade with them.
