“Knowing the world is not enough to know ones self”
This country holds many nomadic groups, but creates underground pockets of settlements across the land they live in. The pockets are visited depending on the season as their faith leads them to follow the honorable groups of Giant snakes. There is a respect between the nomads and the snakes where the snakes willfully milk the poison from their fangs for warmth during the cold winters.
Their way of survival on the plains made it custom to plan years ahead. Many will plant seeds they don’t expect to see for years. It is said that many of the oasis in the country the inhabit wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for the custom to always plant vegetation at every opportunity.
The culture also cultivates near photographic memory for terrain, land and trails.
