The Mountain's Overlook

This monastery has stood thousands of years inspire of the history of the world around it. Even when a black dragon started changing the environment to and acidic swamp land, the monastery remained roughly untouched.  There about 3 orders of monks at the monastery who work together as a force towards safe training. During the day monks of the Sun practice and train their bodies. In the evening those who find weapons as their calling. And at night the more infamous monkks, now accepted more graciously accepted for their more natural connection to the unknown, the shadow tradition. 
The long standing of the monastery has in previous generations been in possession by many groups. From cults, religious zealots, a military encampment, and only the most recent decades was it used by more combative monks.  Similar to La Valin, this location was made long before any inhabitants existed on this world.  When found, the unnatural formations of granite floors and alabaster pillars where already formed with the entire area cleaned of any furniture, doors or even wild animals.  Except for dust and the random weed, the area appeared as if the area was man-made, but cleaned not more than a month prior. Similar to the city, no archeology could find a history of a resident that lived there before.
