Halphard

Diminuitive humanoids that have the proportions of humans but are half the size. Contrary to popular belief, the root of the word is not in reference to their size, but a combination of the Halphard word for "help" (halpa), and the Halphard word for "hearty" (harta). Likewise, the "ph" in Halphard makes two distinct sounds rather than one, so should be pronounced "Halp-hard" or "Halp-ard".
