Houlter has never felt comfortable with the fact that he is a humanoid. He always felt like he was a wild beast trapped in a Firbolg body. Due to these feeling he has never been able to relate to or trust other huminoids. He always found himself wandering into the forest to he away from society and to befriend creatures. His tribe appointed him to be the next successor after their current leaders passing. No one is quite sure why he was chosen, but it was a unanimous decision that he had "it". Unfortunately Houlter didn't want to lead a group of huminoid filth. So he banished himself vowing only to return after he has discovered the worth of all humanoids.
