Port Asha
Port Asha is the de facto capital of the Sarendian Trust, as it is the current residence of Fontriŋ Pelnar
, current Master Trustee of the Sarendian Trust. It has a reputation as a bit of a lawless city, with no municipal watch and numerous inns, taverns, and brothels catering to the numerous merchants and travelers passing through the city at the end of a long journey on the
Grand Feloran Canal.
Quarters of Port Asha
The Port has three major and two minor districts. There was once a fourth major district, but the quarter was destroyed in a monsoon and has not been rebuilt.- Imperial Dockyards. Built by the Feloran Empire during the Late Imperial as the Empire was seeking to increase the amount of cargo shipped off and on the canal as the need for raw minerals increased with the intensity of the Northern Invasions. It is the most recent infrastructure in the city, although it was partially rebuilt during the Sàrène Republic's efforts to reopen the sections of the Imperial Canal System.
- Warehouse District. in the east surrounding the docks at the end of the Grand Feloran Canal
- Old Quarter: Home to the city's taverns, and the quarter most responsible for the city's reputation for immoral behaviour, particularly amongst non-Felorans. It is home to numerous taverns, as well as several brothels. Due to the lack of a city watch and the competing interests of the three guilds, the Old Quarter is a favored place for illicit trade and backroom deals.
- New Quarter: Though not actually any newer than the Old Quarter, the New Quarter saw the most rebuilding when it served as Republic of Saren's main trading port. When the Trust was founded, the institutions of the Republic were neglected and new construction gradually stopped. Each of the Trust Guilds has a Guild Hall in the New Quarter.

Demographics
Port Asha is quite diverse and cosmopolitan. Although making up the largest share of the population, Feloran Elves are only estimated to be around a third of the port's stable population, with other notable communities of Daraman tortles, Selercan Elves, and dwarves from various Galisean origins. Also present are half elves and humans, although most of them are transient or otherwise not part of the stable population.
Government
The Je'thor Council of the city is the formal head of government in the city, however most real power lies with the Sarendian League of Canal Merchants, the Mason's Guild, and the Order of Sastu. The Council relies on these three guilds to levy taxes as the legacy Sàrène Republic's bureaucracy is all but collapsed.
Infrastructure
Port Asha is the western terminus of the Grand Feloran Canal, a thousands year old canal built by the Feloran Empire in the Early Imperial Era. The city has a working, but run down plumbing and sewage system, which often contaminates the docks of the Grand Canal.
Guilds and Factions
Thanks to the Trust's membership rules, no Guild formally controls any land in the city (it is still in principle the sovereign land of the Je'thor Council of Asha) the three guilds maintain a stable, if somewhat competitive status quo.
