Qua'adar

Qua'adar arises out of the desert like a diamond in the rough, after miles of seeing empty sand and sea, the first buildings poke out of the horizon, and then more and more of the city is revealed until you find yourself at its walls, well maintained and strong. Once inside you get inside the city proper however, the vibrant and crowded markets with goods from across two continents becomes readily apparent. The air fills with many exotic smells, and a cacaphony of a dozen languages.

Qua'adar is the largest city, and capital of kingdom of Qua'adar, and has been an inhabited settlement under many names since the the Grek first settled the region just after the arrival of the Bright Star. It is an important trade hub that serves as one of the most important interfaces between Galisea and Felora in the known world, and is also an important center for culture and historical research, and as the importance of international trade increases, so too does the influence of the city of Qua'adar.

The University of Qua'adar: The University of Qua'adar is the Kingdom of Qua'adar's prime academic university, and is one of the largest in Galisea. There are hundreds of courses on offer, and more specifically, the University of Qua'adar has one of the largest and most successful archaeological, archival, and historical departments in the known world. The Arrival Memorial: A monument dedicated to the arrival of the Felorans on the continent during the Feloran occupation of the region, the arrival memorial is one of the more controversial structures in the city of Qua'adar, but also one of the more prominent ones occupying the heart of the largest market square.
