Magnus

Magnus is old tech. He was created long ago to be used in a war against an invading alien force. After being captured and experimented on, Magnus spent the next 40 years deactivated in a field until being found by a little gnome girl, Vivi. Vivi restored him to life and incorporated him into modern society. He became the protector of her small village until it was all burned down by roving marauders. Vivi died in the attack and Magnus vowed nothing like this would ever happen again. He traveled to Isibel helping those he found along the way until he made it to the city. There he met up with a small group of adventurers and learned of his destiny as a Hero of the Hall. He traveled to many realities and protected his friends along their journies until he was killed on Ascension Day by Krampus.

Special abilities

The nanites the Veldaken injected him with give Magnus special abilities, not natural to other warforged. Magnus is able to control these nanites and transform them into massive weapons around his body including swords, giant fists, and even wings. He can also use these nanites to interface with and control other machines.

Failures & Embarrassments

One time, while infiltrating a Veldaken ship, Magnus's squad was captured. He was then experimented on, injected with nanites and affected by strange alien magics. When the Veldaken were done with him, they tossed him out the trash shoot, near dead.

Magnus has trouble remembering his life before he was found by Vivi.

Magnus is driven to protect those around him. Ever since he was first created, his prime directive has been to protect those around him. Originally it was Ghaile, then it was Vivi, now it's his new friends, and according to his destiny, all of reality.
