Rage of the Shadow Queen
The Queen of Night and Magic, had of the Unseelie Court of Fae, grew angry with mortals and gods in Ghemjana. She resolved to take her children home and away from the conflict that was The War in Heaven.
She entered the material plane with her armies and began collecting her children; small elves, trolls, felitars and satyrs.
For ten years she carved her way through cities, towns, settlements and lone camps, taking each and every one of her children back with her into the feywild. It was estimated she killed over a million people during this time and displaced hundreds of thousands more.
Then she laid a curse on anyone entering the feywild for a thousand years.
The Conflict
Prelude
The emerging of the Crystal Spheres gave new souls for the gods to claim, and they waged a bloody war for the planet. Thousands died. But no gods died. Just mortals on the planet, especially the trolls and felitars. The elves, hidden away, cast a powerful high magic spell, calling on aid of their ancestral mother, the Dark Queen herself.
Deployment
She answered.
Aftermath
Millions displaced from homes, families torn apart, disease and famine rampant. The entire Country of Garone was reduced to only 3% of its former population.
Historical Significance
Legacy
For a thousand years, the feywild was closed to mortals of the material plane, and a curse was laid on any walking in.
