The Calm of Ghor
After the Second Return of Magreth (Devilsbane) there was much jubilation and goodwill amongst the non-evil races of Ghor. Freedom from the slavery usher in a Golden Age of cooperation and fellowship, and many great discoveries were made as different races eagerly shared information with each other. This period lasted for 200 years, until greed and ambition eroded the Calm and the world returned to a less cooperative condition.
Notable Events
During the Calm, the collective races of Ghor invented The Rings, a means of instantaneous transportation across Ghor via teleportation. While the Rings were located fairly close to existing power centers, the exact locations were guarded as a defense against enemies. It's believed there were 10 Rings across Ghor, although the locations, even generally, have been lost to history.
