New Dangun

This is the location of the memorials for the parents of the first queen (who requested that they be buried in freedom, close to their family). Members of the community who did not make it to the final destination were also granted an honored burial ground in New Dangun. The burial sites - which take the form of mounds where the cremated remains are kept - are attended to by the Order of St. Hestia, or more specifically a particular branch of the order that specializes in caring for the landscape, the graves themselves, the daily incense, and keeping track of death anniversaries and other memorial days. They make money to keep the business going through the payments and donations of family members who hold their funerals there.
