The Rooks

The Rooks are a small order consisting out of several former disenfranchised soldiers, who all served in the armies of their respective nations during the Great Upheavel, a war that ended five years ago. The members crossed paths with the mysterious organisation called the Obsidian Veil and banded together to fight them.
To ensure that their identities are kept hidden, The Rooks use bird names as individual call signs. Their headquarters is called the Rookery and is located in a former rookery tower in the Caledon district on the outskirts of Illum city.

Structure

The Rooks are led by Raven, a former soldier from the Gavendell Union with close ties to the Kingdom of Valmyrdia. Kingfisher operates as his second-in-command, they monitor international communications and keep an eye out for interesting intel relating to the Obsidian Veil or other threats to peace.
Other known members are:

• Heron, main operative in Staldengard.
• Nightjar, main operative in the Gavendell Union.
• Falcon, main operative in the Aldmarro Republic.
• Titmouse, main operative in the Kingdom of Valmyrdia.
• Sparrow, unaffiliated to a specific nation. They travel around the continent of Alderfell and are a subordinate of the other members.
• Blackbird, unaffiliated to a specific nation. They travel around the continent of Alderfell and are a subordinate of the other members.
• Warbler, unaffiliated to a specific nation. They travel around the continent of Alderfell and are a subordinate of the other members.
• Kestrel, unaffiliated to a specific nation. Orginally from the continent of Q'Avardym, hails from the city of Myria'dim.

Public Agenda

The main goal of the Rooks is to thwart the agenda of the Obsidian Veil.
