Veneration of the Dead

Although not an 'official' religion, per say, near everyone in Vyn Lund believe in the worship and honoring of their fallen ancestors, within both their actions and by contacting them though means dependent on their clan and family.
With this, many practice the cremation of the dead or viking style funerals, such that their remains are restored to the world as quickly as possible, with the former having their ashes spread in the winds of a tall mountain, the depths of a forest etc with this also depended on the clan and family of the deceased.
The living practice this belief by carrying on their family's beliefs, be it honor in battle and death, leading their clan to glory etc, leading to family's descendants tending to hold very similar beliefs and practices to their ancestors for centuries, only when their ancestor spirits tell them, do they deviate from their path.
This communication can be through mediums performed by druids or shamans, psychedelics, dreams, magic, manifestation of spirit through mythical/mystical animals and nature/weather.
