Bulo Oracle

The movement of Merrin indicates that luck will be in our favour
— Oracle of Rustputre, 1261 TF
The Bulo Pantheon was a widely recognised polytheist religion in Bul and the Rhussom Empire. But as Hommism spread from Olivia and Khalekom spread in Eleanor, fewere subscribed to the beliefs.   The Oracles of the pantheon used the movements of the five travelling stars to predict the future and where favour was found. This was utilised a lot in the Rhussom Empire, but died out as a method as other techniques of divination grew in popularity, and the faith in the pantheon was rocked by the massacre of Rhustputre in 1261.

Perception

History

The loss of faith in the oracles came in the form of the Massacre as Rhustputre in 1261 TF, where the armies of Vadre marched to protect their lands against the Beonque forces, aligned with some of the Great Clans. Beforehand, oracles all over said the battle would be in their favour, and the men were confident they would win.   Instead, a terrible storm swept onto the city and a sudden bout of food poisoning left the men in terrible condition to defend, and the Great Clans swept into the city destroying buildings and killing all the defending force. They had to disband and so the Clans took control of the city and razed it to the ground. It took a company of the Beonque's own men to thwart the clan and retake the lands.   The Oracles have been attributed to causing the loss, not accurately predicting the circumstances.

Operations

Tools

The Oracles would often use star maps and star charts that would give records on where stars often appear on regular occasions. Different regions would forecast certain meaning to where the five travelling stars are.   For example, Merrin the Wanderer could indicate luck in one region, whereas Luno would indicate victory in battle.
