Ravenwood Gardens

Ravenwood gardens is a large farm located outside of Pearlwater Village. It is known fairly widely for its production of Ravenfruit and Whisper Wheat, as well as its signature Ravenwood Spice Mix. The farm itself is roughly 1.8 square kilometers, and a wide variety of crops as well as a booming orchard.

Purpose / Function

Ravenwood serves as the primary farm and food production of the area. It serves also as Pearlwater's claim to fame though the area still remains very rural and quiet. The farm is the foremost producer of Ravenfruit as well as whisper wheat, both of which are staples of the local diet. In addition their export business is rather booming because of the difficulty inherent in growing both of their main crops.
In addition they are the only manufacturers of the spice blend known as Ravenwood Spice Mix, a very popular blend that is sought after all over Glenerene. It mixes some of the most difficult to grow spices with a secret ingredient that the owners refuse to share the knowledge of.

Architecture

The buildings on the farm are rather simple aside from the craftsman style cabins that house up to three farmhands a piece and the main farmhouse. The list of simple buildings inclue multiple greenhouses, stables, and a workshop.
The main farmhouse is a two-story craftsman styled home built entirely out of Ravenwood and painted a bright blue and white. Inside features a large common area, dining room, and kitchen as the owners Aleyne Ashhelm and Remi Ashhelm often hold dinners for all of their staff. The upper floor features the master bedroom, nursery and three single rooms as well as the family living and bathrooms.
Each farmhand cabin is built in a craftsman style and painted a darker blue than the main house. The each come equiped with a common area, kitchen, and three bedrooms as well as an attic for storage. These cabins are rather generously sized and comfortable as Ravenwood Gardens believes in providing for it's workers to the best of their ability.

Tourism

Despite the fame of the Ravenwood Gardens, not many people go to visit the area, as the goods they want are shipped beyond Pearlwater to the surrounding cities frequently enough.
