Wild Striped Strix-hound

The Wild Striped Strix-Hound is a rare creature typically found in Southern Aubren. Not much in known about the creature due to a lack of documentation and their rareity in the wild, due in part to over hunting of their prey as well as the lucrative fur trade in which they fetch a high price. The Strix-Hounds found in civilization are a luxury breed that was domesticated several hundred years ago, and as such are only tangentially related to their wild cousins.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Despite how little is truly known about these creatures it is believed that they have exeptional senses of sight, smell, and hearing. The basis for this belief is that fact that they are so hard to find or catch in the wild, the occassional sighting the only proof they still exist.
