Zareanesh
The Zareanesh are monstrous creatures that stalk the unwary deep in the caves and mines of Glenerene. It is unknown where they originate from but they can be found all over the world where greed or curiosity has led people to travel too deep. They are often used as a folk tale and a bed time story meant to instill caution in those who would explore the deep caves or mines of the world. There are plenty who do not believe them to be real.

Anatomy
Standing at roughly 5 feet tall and being 7 feet long they are suspected to weigh somewhere in the realm of 2000 pounds. Their monstrous frames are built like sloths with long, sharp claws on powerful arms capable of leaving gouges in the rock walls of the caves they call home as well as climbing to crawl along the ceilings. Their heads are long and reptilian in shape with elongated snouts housing sharp jagged teeth and a long forked tongue. Their mouths are incapable of closing all the way due to their warped jaws and front teeth that point straight out. Another interesting feature is that they have four large glowing eyes as well as the long feather like scales along their necks.

Their reproductive habits are unknown due to the rariity of having seen them and living to speak of it.

They are believed to carnivorous however the exact nature of their diet is unknown.
Behaviour
They are terrifying creatures that stalk the winding passages deep within the ground and mountains of the world. Those that tell of having seen them say they move silently but smell of death and that if all you see are their eyes you are a lucky one. Not many tales exist of them but those that do speak of being hunted for days and played with by echoing sounds and feigned attacks before escape could happen.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
They are said to be primarily red with black and yellow markings with glowing yellow eyes. Though the few accounts of them vary greatly in detail.
