The Maiden of House Swan
House Swan is a proud, noble, and most of all, the members of the family believe in the purity of the noble bloodline. They believe the members of the noble bloodlines should not marry with non-noble house members/peasants. All of the house's seats were located in the Western Realm and their main seat was the castle of Heart Lake by the Split River. House Swan's ideology is so similar to House Crystal that one might as well call them parallel houses and families. Although House Swan values purity of the noble bloodline, there is a tale of a maiden of House Swan who disobeyed her house value. House Swan deeply reject the tale, claiming it is made up to demean the noble house.
Summary
A long time ago, there was maiden of house Swan named Kathleen. She was the heir to House Swan as her father had no other children and heir. Since her parents wanted to preserve the noble bloodline, they patrolled Kathleen to the young lord of House Windry. Although Kathleen was not pleased with this marriage arrangement, she could not object as she had not affection for anyone yet. During her trip to the Celeria of the Central Realm, she was attacked and kidnapped by raiders. House Swan and House Windry incited a search to find Kathleen, however, they could not locate her. When the raiders stopped by a town in the Central Realm, a ranger of the realm rescued Kathleen, not for wealth and glory, but to honour the oath he swore to protect the weak. During the battle, the ranger took an arrow to the back while they fled. The ranger safely brought Kathleen to Celeria to her patrol, however the young lady of House Swan fell in love for the ranger and the ranger fell for her. The Warden of the Central Realm honourably canceled his son's patrol for the ranger as he was impressed by the ranger's courage. When the word reached House Windry, Kathleen's parents greatly objected the marriage, however, Kathleen would not change her mind. When Kathleen threatened to suicide, the Lord of House Swan finally agreed to the marriage. Kathleen and the ranger's children eventually became the heir to House Swan So it was, the noble and pure bloodline of House Swan wasn't as pure as they thought.
