Krěv

Krěv is a language spoken mostly by the Boggards (who are called Grěngwill in Krěv). It is unknown what language family it belongs to, as it appears to have no relation to other languages of Syvat, suggesting that the Grěngwill may have developed its precursor in isolation.
Krěv is a difficult language for non-Boggards to speak, as it relies quite heavily on their unique physiology, featuring many croaks, ejectives, implosives, and creaky-voiced nasals. Despite this, Krěv rose to prominence among courts within the Vekhen Empire during the Time of Turmoil, as many poets saw a striking beauty in its strange phonology.
