The Valkyrie Inn

The Valkyrie Inn is on the edge of the Sunsu, main floating island, many years ago a slighty drunk airship captain crashed his into the side of the island, rather than pull up the docks further round. The cost of unbeaching the ship and the repairs required to make it airworthy again was decided to be too great and a new ship was brought instead. The Air Valkryie was left for a number of years beached into the side of the island, till a gentlemen called Soo Fang, brought the land from the owner, and hired a number of experience carpeters and builders, he made the place structurally sound and safe so it was about to randomily come loose and crash thousands of feet into the sea below. The Valkyrie was then gutted internally to make what as become a place well known and visited by many as a test of bravery. As Soo replace sections of the flooring with glass to show the drop below ship, so it feels like you are looking down held up by nothing.

Purpose / Function

A place to drink and eat, some of the finest views within the Capital along with some interesting challenges and competitions.

Architecture

The outer structure is still that of a Airship, the internals are wood but been upgraded beyond the norm, so feels like a more impressive and well looked after inn than what the original Airship would have been.

History

25 Years ago, The Valkyrie was crashed into the side of the central island. 20 years ago it was brought by Soo Fang, and the work became to make it into a high class Inn. The Inn itself as been open 19 years at this point and is well known and many people come by to say they been to the Inn.
