Vi (vee)

Flowing within every aspect of the universe is Vi, the invisible and powerful force that crates and controls everything in the universe. It's the energy of creation, the source of all life and all death. It is both the fabric of the world and the thread that stitches all beings into it. It is theorized that the gods themselves were born from raw Vi, an unstable but powerful substance that needed form to continue flowing, so it took on the shape of the pantheon. The Gods closeness to the source of creation caused their power to be so great, enabling them to shape Machar and its people. Magic users connect with "wells" of Vi within them that open them up to the Vi flowing through the world, allowing them to control and create whatever they are capable of.
