Gojera
Gojera is a realm with mostly plains, rolling foothills, and valleys. Mountains crown the north, while the unquenchable deserts to the southwest. It is home to a diverse variety of megafauna.
Geography
The forested Wulfian Mountain range, incomplete without the high peak Beos, stretches across the northern region of Gojera. Beyond that is a smaller swath of marshland, followed by the northern region of the Ogera Ocean. Just south of that mountainous region are valleys and rolling foothills that extend far south, nearly to the edge. It flattens to the east into a lush expanse of prairies, grassland, and meadows ending in steep cliffs. To the far west, foothills slowly dry into a small savannah. Just south of that is the Quohazuma (Desert). It is common for the continent to be described as three regions as two main rivers—the Ithiqan and Gigatan—flow from the mountains to southern coastal deltas.
Fauna & Flora
Something about Gojera has evolved the fauna to a perfected metamorphosis cycle. Every species has three stages, with various types of cocoons or chrysalises to form a full, environment-compatible beast, usually doubling or tripling in size with each stage.
The mammals, or kaiju, are mostly omnivores and herbivores that roam the plains, valleys, and mountains. However, they are extremely territorial. Most kaiju will trample or stampede something they feel threatened by. They remain in herds in their first and second stages but are mostly solitary in their third stage. The largest exception to this is an intelligent, bipedal ape species that has built societies around enslaving both the first and third stages.
The insects, or behemoths, are mostly herbivores or decomposers. Few of these species live outside of the forests and marshlands. These areas are a constant battleground for survival. Many of the first stages can fly, but the larger stages lose this ability. Forty percent of all known species fall into this category.
The reptiles, or dinosaurs, can be located all over Gojera. They are all carnivores or omnivores. They make up thirty-four percent of all known species. These are the deadliest of fauna. Whether hunting in packs or alone, they can take down any third stage beast with ease.
The arachnids, or gargantula, live mostly in the savannah and desert region, but can certainly find any land of Gojera hospitable.
The avians, or colossi, rule the skies and mountains. They've been known to be either carnivores or herbivores. Many have symbiotic relationships with other animals. Nests have been found to be hundreds of feet long that are home to dozens of bird "tribes."
The various aquatic species, or leviathans, are largely undocumented and unclassified. Mystery surrounds the animals that live deep within the oceans. Some believe they don't even have a metamorphosis, but just naturally giant. Beyond those main classifications, there are numerous other species, such as worms or crustaceans, that make up a smaller percentage of all known species.
The diverse flora can grow to be quite large along with the fauna. Many parts of the forests grow hundreds of feet tall with thick trunks. Flowers bloom thick and wide to hold the enlarged pollinators. A few cacti can create a thorny forestlike habitat.
Natural Resources
A titanfall is an area where a stage three giant has died and started decomposition. A complex ecosystem of plants and animals can thrive off of the nutrients and sustenance of this deceased creature and can be maintained for years.
The east plains host the greenest of grass and the blackest of soil. It is the perfect land for farming and livestock.
The Wulfian Mountains have an abundance of wood, and its regrowth is staggeringly fast. Within the mountains are coal, valuable metals, diamonds, and stone.
The desert has many stone quarries and even an abundance of gold.
