S02E04.5 - Void Offerings pt. II Report

General Summary

While on the move to Brinestump Marsh, Andra and Shalelu encountered a goblin band assaulting a giant eagles nest that has laid by too close to their cave dwelling. The onslaught grew in size, and before they could intervene, a young black dragon landed and laid waste to the goblins but also took one of the eggs and gave recruitments offerings to the surviving goblins. They continued on their way. As they arrived at the swamp, and began tracking Andra's party through scent, they eventually arrive at the Licktoad Village to see the finalization of what Lecticia and Elyixavier had been concocting. 
Dark and elusive deals and offerings made in the smoky, hide-strewn hut of the Goblin Chieftain Rendwattle Gutwad, after he witnessed the butchery of a small portion of his tribe, led to him swearing fealty and alliance to the Outer Gods, as ritual fodder for summoning a horrid spawn of Shub-Niggurath, the Dark Young. Afterward, and on the sideline, Lecticia gives Josef a dose of her memories, but not before he is, very audibly, reminded that he 'still belongs to' someone. 
Andra and Shalelu part way on rough terms as the older sister begins to understand what is happening, Andra approaches as the first fervent ritual to the new and eldritch diety of the Licktoads is nearing completion. A goblin traitor, known to the tribe as Scribbleface, was lashed to two oil soaked logs and set ablaze with evil-infused fire that burn he, his pyre and a few goblins down into the pit in which it slid, killing also, and simultaneously rebirthing, the tribe's feared mascot, Squealy Nord. The pigs new horrid form and apparent power was a sign of near-failure but a successful ritual nonetheless. The tribe is instructed to continue the rituals and sacrifices in exchange for assistance in overtaking the goblin tribes of southwestern Varisia.
The party splits again, as Andra goes to reconcile with Shalelu at the shipwreck of the Kaijitsu Star. A sacred spot to the half-elf in Brinestump. They meditate, pray and reflect, but still depart with a rough misunderstanding of things.
Back in Sandpoint, Josef confronts Lecticia and Elyxavier as the latter sells him on the benefits of giving part of his soul to Lecticia, especially as Darvengian seems to have some small hold on it already. Josef outright refuses servitude of any sort, and the state of his current condition and his traveling company is made apparent. After sending Koryl off to become a prostitute at the Pixie's Kitten, Andra is absent for hours.
She in fact, had left town after being confronted by two Sczarni thugs at her wagon, demanding progress, but she responded with death threats to Jubrayl. A silent war was declared. Now looking desparately for their friend, Josef tracks through the streets of a busy and vibrant Sandpoint moonday night, while Elyxavier scouts through the air in bat form, Lecticia on the ground. 
Separate as they may have been, they all saw the black dragon descend on Lecticia.
