The Gauntlet - Part 2

General Summary

• The Guardians of Golarion continued through the Sa'har Test of the Gauntlet, hoping to survive to the end and obtain the key to the Vault of Jel'va.

• They used a Pegasus to fly over a pool of acid, fought their way through a Dire Lion, a Tiger, and a Bear (oh my), and entered a corridor filled with mist and smoke.

• The mist concealed a number of traps, including one that injected a powerful acid into Sakali's neck and one that compelled Ella to attempt suicide by attacking herself with her own battle axe.

• Around the corner, another trapped hallway. This one guarded by a Minotaur.

• At the corner of many of these hallways were faded yellow bricks with the insignia of a spider being crushed by a large fist. These were found to be pressure plates, but could only be activated by having a substantial weight on top of it.

• Beyond the Minotaur's hallway was a pool of water filled with flecks of negative energy.

• With the wall of death drawing ever closer behind them, the bloody and beaten Guardians of Golarion came around another corner and were met by a grinning gnome standing in a web-laced hallway.  The gnome, with a mad gleam in his eye, laced his fingers together. "What fun," he said as he sneered at the heroes. "Time to play!"

Rewards Granted

• A platinum ingot, a masterwork agile half-plate, spyglass, vial of Bleeding Bell, and a Bag of Holding I that have yet to be appraised.

Character(s) interacted with

• Shen Stroheim - Tapping into the akasha has given Shen some healing abilities. Abilities that the Gauntlet is stretching to their limits.
