The Faceless One was an enigmatic and devoted leader of a secretive sect of the Ebon Triad, aligning himself with the worship of Norgorber, particularly the aspect known as the Reaper of Reputation. His followers believed that, through his extensive knowledge of hidden and forbidden lore, he possessed unique insight and power. Under his guidance, the sect established itself within the Dark Cathedral, hidden deep beneath Ragnolin Dourstone's mine in Ravengro.
Norgorber, in his Reaper of Reputation aspect, held appeal for spies, manipulators, and politicians, who saw him as the deity of secret knowledge and social influence. Those who worshiped the Reaper varied widely, from benign influencers who leveraged their insights for mutual gain, to more dangerous factions like the Anaphexia, an Ustalavic organization that guarded secrets through force, eliminating those who might reveal them. The Faceless One’s devotion to this aspect granted him an aura of fear and respect; though his true origins remained a mystery, his mastery over arcane secrets allowed him to maintain order within the Dark Cathedral, keeping powerful cultists of Dahak and militant Asmodean devotees in an uneasy balance.
Through a combination of cunning and his vast knowledge, the Faceless One had become a shadowy figure of influence in the Ebon Triad, known for his control over information and his ruthless approach to any who threatened the sanctity of the secrets he held.
